The Squire’s Tale Chapter 1 Walkthrough
The Squire’s Tale Walkthrough begins… The story begin’s in the kingdom of Cornette, with its mightiest knight Cedrick and his trusty squire Martin.
On a quest to retrieve the Royal Ruby, the duo have tracked the Goblin raiders to the Snare Mines.
- Pick up a statue horn and arm. Pick up a tunic and use it on the water jar to make it damp tunic. Take a torch by the cave’s entrance and use it on the green vines on the stairs. Go inside the opened cave.
- Pick up a shovel and a hammer. Use the hammer on the wall above the skull and take a Goblin dictionary and animal statues. There is a clue on the wall – star, diamond, triangle and circle. Go out.
- Use shovel to dig out an exquisite box. Count stars on the first – 3, count diamonds on the second – 5, count triangles – 7 and count circles – 4. The code is 3574 (see picture below). Take a goblin glue from the box.
- Click on the statue and fix it by applying glue on the arm’s and the horn’s places. Then by placing the horn and the arm there. The position of arms is on the wooden sign. The body’s clue is in wording “Gobby rose from the flames to open the way.” Put animal statues beside the statue. The clue is in the translation “Aided by one with the hard shell of a warrior.” (crab). Go inside the cave.
- Play goblins mini-games (the solution is at 4:32 time frame in the video below):

- For the first game the solution is Down, Slash one in front of you, Up, Press slash button to kill all four.
- for the second game: Down, Down, Kill, Left, Left, Press Run button, Kill.
- for the third game: Up, Right, Right, Press Slash button to kill two goblins, Down, Left, Left, Down, Kill, Up, Right, Up, Kill.
- Pick up a dagger and a crown. Use dagger as a screwdriver on the wooden box and collect a gear. Click on the corner of the floor rug and collect another gear. Click on the picture and pay attention on the heights of green diamond, clubs, skull and white crown. It is the clue for the next puzzle. Click on the folded picture’s corner to find a sun symbol. Click on the door lock and enter those symbols according their heights (see picture below).
- Collect one more gear. Open metal box by the elevator’s cabin. Put in all gears that you found (3). Go in.
- Pick up a pickaxe and a heavy duck statue. Give this duck to Cedrick. Pick up a flint and tinder from the blue box that felt because of Cedrick used heavy duck. Click on the light lamp on the right and use pickaxe to collect a blue gem.
- Go back to the elevator. Use pickaxe to collect a red book from the closet. Find a yellow gem in one of the pages and collect it. Use flint and tinder to make a fire under the jar with green liquid. Put the crown inside and collect red gem. Go back to Cedrick.
- Put all gems in the tube on the table. Click on it and solve a mini-game (see picture below).
- Remember the configuration of positions and use it on the door lock (see picture below)

The Squire’s Tale Chapter 2 Walkthrough
The squire’s tale walkthrough continues… “Fueled by excitement, Cedrick leads them to the Grim Tops mountains where the first altar is hidden.”
- Pick up old cloth from the statue. Use this old cloth on the stairs.
- Look at the mushrooms, how many. They are the clue for the stairs. The solution is below
- Go inside the mountain. Click on the pinkish stone and collect chest key from underneath. Use this key to unlock the chest. Collect an axe from the chest. Use this axe on the vines around the ladder. Collect the ladder and continue removing vines with the axe.
- Pick up a bucket by the chest.
- Click on the stone above the chest and collect wooden gear. Install this wooden gear on the structure on the right and push the switch down, to make water works.
- Use the ladder to connect with smaller ladder on the top. Click on the pipe and solve pip puzzle, see the solution below
- Use the bucket to collect water and empty it into the big barrel, do it few times until the water runs into the big wall drain pipe.
- Outside the room. Click on the box at the big wheel and collect a compass. Install this compass into the door lock. The clue for four door compasses is at each statue:

- the bottom statue – “Up from the ground we will grow.” The compass with a leave should face up.
- the left statue – “Westward winds sweep from faraway lands.” The compass with a wind (top right) faces west (left)
- the top statue – The liquid of life flows but one way.” The compass with a water faces down.
- the right statue – “Eastern fire breathers burn with desire.” The compass with afire faces east (right).

- Go inside and talk to the dragon.
- Click on the broken statue on the right and put peaces together and collect blue gem.
- Collect empty flask from the water.
- Collect potion book from the table. Open the book, there is a clue for the order how to mix the flasks. Put the empty flask on the table and follow the clue to create the mixture. The solution is below.

- purple (Wailing wind whispers)
- blue (Frozen to the bone)
- yellow (lighting strikes)
- red (Igniting a burning desire)
- green (Grow among the giants)
- orange (Reach the rising cliffs)
- Caderick drinks this mixture to get stronger. Click on the big stone on the stairs so Caderick can remove it. Go outside.
- Collect hammer. Go back inside.
- Use hammer on the wooden box at the tree trunk. Collect a flint and steel from the box. Click on more time on the box and collect black powder. Go back to the nest.
- Use black powder on the nest. Then use flint and steel to make a fire. Collect griffin egg.
- Give this egg to the dragon.
- Go to the altar. Click on the fallen column. Click on the mosaic on the top of ark. Remember the order of symbols: wind – sun – mountain – star – fire – clouds – moon.
- Click on the stone on the right and click on each symbol in the order from the ark. Collect one more blue gem. Install this gem in the stone above.
- The diamond shape blue gem need to installed in another stone, on the left.
- Click on the skeleton’s back and collect a torch. Lit this torch with the blue fire. Go to the altar. Collect a net on the right. Go back to the dragon.
- Use the net on the water and collect dragon bust from the bag. Go back to the altar.
- Install dragon bust on the middle stone. Use lit torch on the left and right stones. Click on the middle stone to solve the stone rings puzzle. The solution is below.

The Squire’s Tale Chapter 3 Walkthrough
The squire’s tale walkthrough continues… Our heroes head towards the second altar in the Ruins of Recursia, and ancient civilization of mathematicians.
- Destroy the pots by clicking on them and collect a key.
- Click on the left door and put the key in the bucket of red paint to make red key. Use this key on the door with red lock. Collect alpha orb.
- Install alpha orb in the left column. The statue has numbers 312. It is a order clue. Click on the left pedestrian and use this order to press the buttons with numbers – 3-1-2.
- Take alpha orb from the column. Go inside.
- Click on the drawings by the chair and collect a bow. Click on the left chair and collect arrow for the bow.
- Use the bow to cut the rope above the statue. Collect beta orb.
- Go back and install beta orb in the column and collect waders from the opening. Remove the beta orb from the column. Go back to the room.
- Use waders to collect painting key from the water. Use this key to unlock the painting and collect it.
- Remove alpha orb and use beta orb. Use the painting on the numbers panel to get the clue and the order for numbers (pipe number). Dots below the numbers are the order: 8(one dot)3(two dots)1(three dots)4(four dots)6(five dots). Click on the pipes and click on 8th pipe first then 3rd, 1st, 4th and 6th pipes.
- Remove the beta orb and go down.
- Install the beta orb and play the mini-games. The solutions are below.
- Collect flower key. Remove the orb. Go back outside.
- Use flower key to open the door on the right. Collect rubber gloves and watering can. Use watering can to collect water. Go back to first room.
- Use rubber gloves to collect green mossbottom ooze from the floor. Go to the second room.
- Install alpha orb and put mossbottom ooze on the opened sphere and then water it by using watering can. Remove the orb.
- Remove big stone by the wall and collect gamma orb. Install the gamma orb and collect stone slab from the statue. Remove the orb. Go back outside.
- Install stone slab on the statue. Install gamma orb. Solve the puzzle with two pedestals, one with five symbols and 6 lights and another one with three buttons with dots. The solution is

- collect all symbols order from stone slab by pressing number 1, 2, 3, 4 (1+3), 5 (2+3), 6 (1+2+3).
- press the symbols according your finding – 4th, 1st, 3rd, 2nd, 2nd, 5th symbols.
- Collect Abacus instructions from the opening. Remove the orb. Go back to the second room.
- Press switches by the chalkboard. Look at the Abacus instructions for the panels clue. Click on the panel and collect dead battery. Go back outside.
- Charge the battery in the opening and collect recharged battery. Go back to the second room. Install recharged battery. Go back to the first room.
- Install gamma orb (green). Remember the numbers from the water. Remove the orb. Go back to the second room and punch these numbers on the panel. The solution is below
- Go inside. Install orbs accordingly. Play mini-games to go through. The solutions are below. You may have different approach to play the games.

The Squire’s Tale Chapter 4 Walkthrough
The squire’s tale walkthrough continues… The squire’s tale walkthrough continues… Cedrick and Martin head towards Saxton to catch a boat to the final altar. That is, until Cedrick took a detour to Morrocas so he could compete in the Tournament of the Mightiest.
- Click on the round cushion and pick up a key. Go inside the room on the right.
- Pick up a scissors. Click on the blue book and remember the number positions on the shield, it is a clue.
- Use scissors on the material on the chest to get a cloth. Use the key to unlock the chest and collect a folding stool and fabric patterns. Go back.
- Put the folding stool down so you cut the rope with animal figures at the ceiling. Collect it. Go back to the tailor’s room.
- Put the shield cloth, fabric patterns and decorations on the table. Install fabric patterns according the shield numbers clue. Remember the patterns. Look at the emblems above the table, it is clue for decorations. See the solution below.
- Go back and give the invitation to Ambrose. Go to the market, on the left.
- Talk to Nira, on the right and receive tea leaves. Put the coin into the cup by the old person. Collect a tassel. Talk to the old person and go back.
- Install tassel on the left curtain and collect a basket. Go back to the market and collect one more basket, on the right. Give these two baskets to Manid, the old person and collect a flute. Click on the baskets with snakes. Play mini-game. The height’s of the light fixture is related to the snake’s height. The light space in the diamond is the position of snake’s tongue. The solutions are below.
- Collect a jar of honey from the old man. Go back and talk to Ambrose. He wants a cup of tea. Use tea leaves on the teapot and collect it. Put teapot on the fire pit and collect it when it’s boiled. Fill the glass cup with a tea from the teapot and try to give it to Ambrose. He asks for honey. Add honey to the glass cup and then give it to him. Collect a pear. Go back to the market.
- Give the pear to a donkey. Solve the rug puzzle. The solution is below. Collect a fancy rug. Go back and give it to Ambrose.
- Receive a star chart from Ambrose. Click on the telescope and star chart, choose the animal and find a star related to the animal through the telescope. Then count how many big stars for this animal and have the same amount above the animal. The solution is below.

- Collect a banner. Go and install your banner. Go back to the sea. Click on the grass beside the ark’s left side and pick up old sword. Use it to remove big stone and also open the coral. Also try to hit a shark with this sword. Use the sword on the octopus with underwater key and collect it. Use this key to unlock the chest. Collect a battle horn. Use it on the shark. Then collect a pearl. Before go back, count how many stars (4), fish (3), octopus (1) and corals (2) there. It’s a clue for the order. Go back and use the pearl on the chest. Then choose the combination of octopus – carol – fish – star to unlock the chest. Collect a banner. Go back to the banners place.
- Collect a banner stand from the barrel. Open the wooden box and collect a boomerang. Dig out a banner pole from the sand.
- Talk to Ambrose, who wants bananas. Use boomerang on the banana tree and collect bananas. Give it to him. Receive a fishing net from him. Use it and collect wet banner from the water. Go back.
- Install the stand, the pole and two banners. Play the final challenge. The solution is below.

The Squire’s Tale Chapter 5 Walkthrough
The squire’s tale walkthrough continues… With new companion Nira on the team, our heroes sail to the town of Mittenheim to inquire about the third altar. However, a curse has frozen all the villagers!
- Pick an ice scraper from the snow beside snowman.
- Collect two buttons (5,9) from the snowman.
- Collect a letter from the general store’s mail slot. Read it. There is a clue, parcel pin. Click on the general store’s window and use symbols from the letter to find a number according a symbol. You should get 3584.
- Use ice scraper to clean ice from the electric box in the snow. Play two mini-games. The solutions are below.
- Click on the snow bank’s entry lock and install two numbers from snowman (5,9). Then enter the code that you got from the general store’s window – 3584. Collect general store’s key.
- Use the key and go inside the store. Pick up a shovel. Go outside.
- Use shovel to clean the snow in front of other house. Go inside. Collect red jar opener from the shelf. Collect field guide page and storage key from the desk’s cabinet. Use the key to unlock the chest. Collect a fishing rod and ice drill. Pick up another field guide page from the floor. Click on the shelf below plants and collect third filed guide page and a candle.
- Click on the binder and put three field guide pages inside. Collect the binder. Open the binder and find three symbols according the clues on the chalkboard. Symbols in the red colour can’t be used. The solutions are below
- Go back to the general store. Use jar opener and collect jerky from the opened jar. Lit the candle by the fire place. Go outside.
- Give jerky to the dog. Follow the dog. Use lit candle on the pink flower. Collect hatch flower. Collect shiny ornament from the Christmas tree. Talk to magical snowman. Play mini-games. The solution are below. Collect crosen berries.

- Top (first) snowman – right. First and second – down. Third and fourth – up.
- First row and second snowman – up. First row and third snowman – up. Second row – left. First row and first snowman – up. Fourth row and second snowman – down.
- Second row – right. Fourth column – up. Fourth row – right. Fourth column – up. Fourth row – right.
- Use ice drill and install fishing rod with shiny ornament. Catch shimmer scales. Go back to the laboratory house.
- Click on the big bowl, collect pink chemical bottle and use it on the bowl, then put berries, fish scales and flower inside the bowl. Click on the bowl that require some clue to make it work. One clue is the clocks time on the shelf – 2-3-8. Enter it for the temperature setting on the bowl. Next clue is two drops on the top of the shelf. Choose two drops at the next setting. One more clue is the map on the wall. The route is the route for the lock on the bowl. The solution is below. Then turn it on by sliding ON button down. Receive defrosting potion.
- Go outside and use this potion on the frozen yeti outside.
- Go to the general store and use the potion on the frozen yeti.
- Go to the pond and use the potion on the frozen yeti. Go back and talk to the yeti outside.
- Collect Ox statue. Collect rope from the backpack and the backpack itself. Pick up ice pick. Use rope to reach penguin statue and collect it. Use ice pick to get frog statue from the ice. Put all items from your inventory on the scale. Go to the altar.

The squire’s tale walkthrough continues… After fully charging the pendant at all three altars, it’s finally time to head to the Forgotten Forest and find the Sword of the Light.
- Go down. Pick up crooked branch and dead fish. Collect tattered shirt from the tree branch. Go up.
- Use crooked branch and tattered shirt at the light and get lit torch. Use the torch and go to the right.
- Click on the house. Click underneath of the house. Pick up purple dried mushrooms. Put the mushrooms into the bowl and get mushroom powder. Put this power into the pot on the top shelf to get a magic scroll. Go back.
- Click on the spiderwebs. Play mini-game. The solution is below.
- Use lit torch on the spiderwebs. Collect spiderwebs. Go underneath of the house. Pick up a pedal from the bottom shelf and install it on the machine. Use this machine to make spider silk from the spiderwebs. Collect it. Go back.
- Use spider silk on the short bow by the skeleton. Collect it. Give dead fish to the cat to collect a tumbler. Use the bow on the ladder. Collect a blue dreamcatcher amulet by the house door. Click on the death statue’s box. Install the tumbler on the box. The crow is the clue to find the letters to unlock the box – LOVED. Enter it and unlock the box. Collect a wand. Go back and down.
- Hang the dreamcatcher amulet on the tree branch. Give the magic scroll to the tree. Use the wand on the water. Go up and through the open gate.
- Pick up a mill lever on the right. Go inside the mill. Open the top drawer (you need to close other drawers) and collect garden gloves. Collect hand rake from the hook. Click on the flowers and collect a bow drill. Go out.
- Use garden gloves to pick up red flowers, stinkweed. Click on the tortoise’s head and use the hand rake to clean grass from the tortoise’s nose. Collect a moss. Put the moss on the wood and use bow drill to make a fire. Use stink weed on the tortoise’s nose three times. Collect moon mushrooms. Put the mushrooms in the fire to get dried moon mushrooms. Go back inside the mill.
- Put the dried moon mushrooms in the bowl to get moon powder. Install the mill lever and turn it on. Use moon powder on the mill wings to spray around. Use mushrooms’ stairs and play mini-game. The solution is Right, Down, Right, Left, Left (lighting), Right, Right, Right, Up, Right (lighting), Left, Left, Up, Left, Up (lighting), Right, Right, Right, Up, Left (lighting), Down, Down, Up, Right (exit).
- Use moon powder on the fire. Click on all frogs to get them on the leaves (6 frogs). Click on the true to get a clue for frogs. Click on the frogs in the following order – red, blue, white, yellow, purple and red. Collect magic pendant. Give it to Martin. Solve the letter puzzle. The solution is below.

The Squire’s Tale Chapter 7 Walkthrough
The Squire’s Tale walkthrough continues… “Despite breaking the Sword of Light, our heroes press onwards to the Monster King’s Lair to put a stop to its evil plans.”
- Pick up gloves by skeleton and old key that is hanging on the rock.
- Collect the rope on the top.
- Use the key on the red box, unlock it and collect can of tuna and screwdriver. Use the screwdriver on the cover and open it. Use gloves to collect medallion half and fishbone from the garbage. Put fish bone and can of tune on the stones beside the shark’s statue and put the rope on the anchor. Collect anchor hook. Use it on the balcony.
- Click on the stones pile and collect shield.
- Click on the hole inside the tower and use shield to move big stone by the green cabinet. Open the cabinet and collect umbrella. Use umbrella on the hole to collect medallion half.
- Pu tow medallion halves into the stone’s opening. To go inside the elevator, you need to play mini-game. The solution is at 2:51 video time.
- Click on the gemstone on the top of the elevator and collect it from the floor. Then collect wooden plank.
- Open red curtains on the left and on the right. Click on the bottom mask and collect another gemstone.
- Click on the elevators buttons’ panel and choose button +. Then the first aid box will be opened. Collect bandages and hand saw from there.
- Click on the floor carpet and open metal box. Use bandages on the wiring.
- Click on the elevator buttons panel and turn off the light and then choose B10.
- Install two gemstones and collect candelabra from opening. Now you can fully see a clue of different colorful faces. Go on floor B40.
- B40. Install candelabra in the opening. Go B30.
- B30. Use the clue and solve the colourful masks puzzle. The solution is below. Collect a key. Go B20.
- B20. Use hand saw on the bars on the left. Look how many figures, it is a clue to solve the puzzle in the elevator. Enter 5 on the second place. Go B10.
- B10. Look at the window and count the figures. Go back on B20.
- B20. Enter 3 on the first place. Go B30.
- B30. Look at the opening and count the figures. Go back on B20.
- B20. Enter 3 on the third place. Go on B40.
- B40. Look at the window and count the figures. Go back on B20.
- B20. Enter 2 at the bottom place. You suppose to have as below. Collect a key. Go B50.
- B50. Use wooden plank and make it burning plank from the fire in the window. Go on B40.
- B40. Use the burning plank and lit the candelabra. Then look at the ceiling with a clue for candelabra. Collect a key. Go on B50.The solution is below
- B50. Use three keys. Go inside.
- Receive broken sword of light. Collect bolt clutters by the oven. Turn on the red switch behind the oven. Use bolt cutters and cut the padlock on the doors on the wall. Collect tongs. Use tongs on the ladder to pull it down and collect crowbar. Use the crowbar on the wooden box and collect red valve wheel. Install it on the sword like pipe. Use crowbar on the green thing on the handle and collect green gum. Use the gum on the hole on the pipe. Open red valve wheel and turn the handle down on the top. Three lights on the oven is on. Press the button on the floor beside the oven and the metal door will be opened. Go inside.
- Collect a hammer. Use the broken sword on the spoon and collect magical spoon. Use the broken sword on the metal pitcher and collect pitcher of normalization. Use the broken sword on the screaming shield and collect shield of screaming. Leave the room.
- Put the pitcher, the magical spoon and the shield of screaming in the oven. Click on the blue circle and collect magic ore. Put the magic ore on the stand and solve the puzzle. The solution is at 13:39 video time. Collect purified magic ore. Put broken sword on the stand and apply purified magic ore on it, and then the hammer.

The Squire’s Tale walkthrough continues… “Nina plans to use the Sword of Light to activate the Doomsday Device! Alone in the dungeon, can Martin rescue Cedrick, stop Nira, and save the kingdoms?”
- Pick a big metal ball. Click few times on the chain by the wall. Use big metal ball on the floor grill and collect shiny coin. Give it to the mouse from the hole and receive a silver needle. Use the needle to pick the cell’s lock. Go outside.
- Pick up a pin ladle from the table. Click on the lever on the wall.
- Click on the cell with green stuff on it. Pick up three times hand full of rocks and use them on the green cube. Pick up a torch. Use pin ladle to get the key from the hole in the floor. Open the chest and collect Cedrick’s sword. Go out.
- Use torch from the inventory and lit it up from the torch on the passage. Use the key to unlock wooden door. Use lit torch to see what is inside. On the left, there is the clue for the next puzzle – a star’s position. On the right, pick up a spear. Go out.
- Click on the lock of the cell (first on the left) and solve the puzzle. The solution is below.
- Give the sword to Cedrick. Click on the wall’s stones that are sticking out and collect a gear from the opening. Go out.
- Talk to Cedrick. Below are the choices for conversation with Cedrick:

- Pushing that big boulder in the dragon cave.
- Passing the Golem’s challenge.
- Winning the Mightiest Mind tournament.
- Restoring power to Mittenheim.
- Destroying the Sword of Light.
- Use the spear on the middle circle, install gear in the opening below and click on it so Cedrick can turn it.
- Pick up an anchor hook. Use it on the broken ladder on the left to get red book from there. Take anchor hook back. Use it gain on the right side with broken ladder. Collect a fish statue from the statue’s hands. Go up.
- Pick up a blue book from the floor. Click on the opening on the left and collect another shovel. Click on the opening on the right and collect green book and a moon chart. Use shovel and dig out a ballista bolt from the middle of the floor. Put all books on the book shelf and collect a red crystal from the opening. Go out.
- Use ballista bolt with ballista, it will open a puzzle in the wall. Click on the puzzle and use clue from the moon chart to solve it. The solution is below. Collect a shadow orb and a fish statue. Go back to the room upstairs.
- Install two fish statues on the left sticks. Correct direction of the water flows to the middle circle on the floor. Collect a staff from the cylinder. Go back.
- Install red crystal into the staff at the left statue and install staff to the right statue. The middle will open with a puzzle.. Need to make each orb inside of each circle full of energy. The solution can be different, mine is below. Use magic stairs to go up.
- Pick up a crystal shard by the robot. Put it on the right metal plate. Go inside the opening squire. Collect a hammer and chisel from the wall. Open wooden cabinet by the ceiling and collect a butter knife. Pick up a horn blueprint from the box by the skeleton. Click on the skeleton to pick up a scroll with a key. Go up.
- Use butter knife to unscrew the front panel on the robot and collect plate cover. Use hammer and chisel to get one more crystal shard from the crystals. Put it on the other metal plate. Go back to the room.
- Click on the machine and click on the gear cover to remove it from the panel. Use hammer and chisel on the crack on the floor and collect filament. Install filament on the machine and cover with be back. Click on the blueprint and read the clue what symbols need to use. The solution is below. Use the symbols and press button with hammer. Collect metal horns.
- click on the metal plate from inventory to read the clue for other set of symbols to use on the machine. The solution is below. Collect a metal heart. Go out.
- Install metal horns and heart into the robot. Use the winding key at the back of the robot then put plate cover back. Step inside the elevator.
- Play three the mini games (avoid to be hit and fill the all squares).
